The Cast Iron Soil Pipe Institute is a not for profit trade association. The Institute's members manufacture cast iron soil pipe and fittings. The Institute maintains two product standards, CISPI 301 is for hubless cast iron soil pipe and fittings, and CISPI 310 is for couplings used to join these products. Founded in 1949, the Institute is active in codes and standards development and provides product information to design professionals and regulators.
