Description

Companies across the country – ranging from major corporations such as Toyota, Ford, and Boeing, to small operations like a neighborhood brewery – have begun adding exoskeletons and exosuits to their operational toolbox to fight against musculoskeletal disorders. This is because exo technology has become more practical, approachable, and affordable for adoption. At the core of exo technology is a simple concept: address potentially painful back problems before they become a problem. As more data comes out because of the adoption of exos, it’s critical for companies interested in taking advantage of this new tool to understand the important considerations for implementing them. In this presentation, we will examine helpful questions to get a clearer understanding of whether exos are an appropriate solution to the problems workers face, what to look for in the exos being considered, and what to expect when testing and implementing them to help ensure high user acceptance and adoption.
