Description

The presentation will provide attendees the skills and knowledge to enhance their employee resilience and resistance to encountering a back injury from material handling tasks. More specifically, the session will focus on enhancing existing ergonomic programs to include science based pre-work exercises that effectively prepare employees to safely lift and transport material. During the session attendees will learn about the science of movement patterns and exercise program design as well as how to effectively coach employees to perform safe lifting techniques using various lifting and transporting strategies.
