According to new research, poor health costs the U.S. economy $576 billion annually. An often-overlooked preventative measure for employers to implement is the use of wearables, as ergonomic solutions, in the workplace. In this session, Dr. Orvitz will discuss why there is a need for companies to find the right solution to improve productivity and reduce healthcare costs. Integrating wearable technology and ergonomics solution is the key to achieve the right balance of effectiveness for employers and acceptance of employees – like, Energysole. Evaluating different parameters to monitor employee activity levels, predict slips, trips, and falls, and track various other injury risks. With this data, employers can proactively, not reactively, identify risks to ensure employees are safe and while solving pain points for companies, such as healthcare and insurance costs.
