Description

Claims handlers, managers and nurses arrange Physical Therapy every day for a variety of injuries and conditions but is it always the right way to go? Our session will discuss the injuries or conditions that will benefit most from early intervention with PT and those that may not benefit early on but would best respond to medical treatment and assessment of progress before engaging PT. Attendees will take away a clearer understanding of PT expectations and its role in meeting both return to function and return to work goals. Learn how to talk to the physician and medical team about progress, limitations, ODG recommendations and overall outcomes.
