Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Las Vegas Nevada, Three Rivers Provider Network (TRPN) is the largest and fastest growing proprietary provider network in the United States. Our expansive network is comprised of over 2.6 million provider locations including hospitals and ancillary facilities, allowing TRPN to serve approximately 100 million members nationwide. Our National TRPN Network comprises three lines of business of auto liability, workers compensation and group health.
TRPN’s clients experience an average savings below usual & customary rate or auto state fee schedules of up to 45 percent on auto claim related medical bill expenses due to our ability to leverage multiple pricing methodologies with our directly contracted providers.
Our EDI re-pricing system is fully automated and supports industry standard file formats. TRPN processes more than 1.7 million claims per month, representing approximately $2 billion in total billed charges. Information Security is vital in our industry, which is why the TRPN Data Center is HI secure and HIPAA Compliant, with data fully encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-recognized security protocols.
TRPN develops and maintains direct relationships with every TRPN participating provider, ensuring the accuracy of our repricing, provider satisfaction, and current provider demographic data. We have a concierge service available to assist our providers and our Appeals division oversees any provider appeal and addresses questions as needed. This commitment to our providers is apparent by the low volume of appeals received and our 99.5 percent dispute resolution rate.

Our provider recruitment department successfully contracts with approximately 100,000 providers annually across all lines of our business. We have the ability to effectively recruit a top non-participating provider (all specialties) and/or hospital nationally for a client, upon request. Our staff is 100 percent HIPAA compliant and has a thorough knowledge of healthcare, state, and federal laws. We also offer credentialing services, call center services, data entry, and contracting services, as well as full insurance service-related business process outsourcing (BPO) back-office services.

How Will We Work Together?
Once a client enters an agreement with TRPN, a dedicated staff is introduced to handle any potential question or concern that may arise. An assigned account manager will assist and provide any customized reporting needed. An appeals representative is assigned. The TRPN IT department will work in accordance with our client’s specific needs.
How We Compare to Our Competitors?
TRPN has developed the largest proprietary network of single source contracts using an index-based application. As such, TRPN contracts are atypical in the PPO industry. Every major auto, workers’ compensation, and group health commercial carrier in the US has accessed TRPN’s network using index-based repricing and fee schedule reimbursement. All TRPN contracts include language that determines claims reimbursement based on an index. These contracts are also settlement agreements that prohibit any balance billing to the member.
As a result, our competitors have collaborated with TRPN to augment their strength as a cost containment solution. The two largest commercial carriers in the US have reduced their claims expenses by an average of 60 percent using the TRPN network. One long-time competitor has utilized TRPN’s discounts to save their clients millions on their healthcare claims.
