Southwest Research Institute® (SwRI®) is a pioneer in validating automotive product performance to improve fuel economy. Since 1947, SwRI has provided expertise in a wide variety of automotive evaluations as an independent, nonprofit R&D organization. Typical programs include lubricant, fuel additive, and aerodynamic component evaluations; driveline component durability and performance testing; and SAE J1321 truck fuel economy testing.
