Blaine Brothers is a second-generation family-owned business established in 1979 that exists to serve the transportation industry. Since its founding over 40 years ago, Blaine Brothers has sought to help each of its partners like its own family, as long-standing business partnerships are created and last throughout the life of a fleet.
The company includes four separate business entities that together offer nearly every product and service requested in the commercial transportation industry. The family of companies employs more than 350 people in 10 locations across Minnesota, North Dakota, and Wisconsin.
Blaine Brothers Minnesota facilities in Minneapolis, Scanlon, and Clearwater and Wisconsin facility in Baldwin offer medium- to heavy-duty truck and trailer parts, service, and towing; including customized fleet maintenance, and sales and rental of capacity yard trucks.
In 2013, the company acquired Minnesota-based companies TruckAline and Hydraulic Specialty. TruckAline specializes in full-service frame, suspension, and alignment services, in Blaine. Hydraulic Specialty, located in Fridley, provides solutions for hydraulic needs in both the transportation and manufacturing industries, including complete truck-mounted hydraulic services.
In 2008, North American Trailer was added to the family of companies, and in 2016 North American Trailer relocated to their state-of-the-industry facility in Inver Grove Heights, MN with additional Minnesota locations in Scanlon and Clearwater and a facility in Stanley, ND. In 2021, North American Trailer opened its newest location in Chippewa Falls, WI. North American Trailer offers the same great services as Blaine Brothers with the addition of tank service, and new and used trailer sales.
