Railroad Commission of Texas
The Railroad Commission of Texas is the state agency with jurisdiction over oil and gas operations, pipeline safety, alternative fuels, gas utilities and surface mining. Our mission is to serve the environment, serve the citizens of Texas through efforts in personal and community safety, and to support the Texas economy.
