Robert has over 25 years of experience as a mechanical engineer in the HVAC Industry. He has significant
experience improving building performance and has personally directed and participated in over 500
commissioning, recommissioning and retrocommissioning projects covering more than 25 million square feet.
Robert is active in industry professional organizations and is a Past-President of the National Environmental
Balancing Bureau (NEBB), he is also a past chairman of NEBB's Building Commissioning Committee.
He has been actively involved with ASHRAE, including participation in the Test and Balance and Building
Commissioning Technical Committees. He has developed and taught commissioning and retrocommissioning
classes for NEBB. In addition to teaching for NEBB, Robert is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at the
University of Minnesota teaching a Facility Assessment and Commissioning course.
