Description

How can schools elevate student voices, stakeholder engagement and community partnerships to strengthen college, career and life readiness? Pulaski Community School District will share its multi-year journey expanding career and technical education through a dynamic CTE Advisory Committee, extensive business and community engagement, youth apprenticeship experiences, and development of a Future Ready Learner Profile. This work is grounded in stakeholder feedback, workforce data and national research on preparing students for the changing world of work. Attendees will hear directly from students, educators and industry partners while exploring how tools like the School Perceptions survey, community forums and student focus groups have shaped programming. The session offers practical strategies for designing learner profiles, building advisory structures, and aligning CTE and academic and career planning with workforce needs.
