The ostrich farms have been owned and managed for about 20 years. Since 2016 they owned and operated the ostrich abattoir and deboning facility & Pet Treat manufacturing facility, which adheres to the highest food safety standards and legislative requirements to maintain export approval. The farms, abattoir and deboning facility is registered as a closed ostrich compartment in South Africa, giving them control of the entire process from start to finish
