Our long traditions and knowledge in fishing, combined with a patented production technology, guarantee high quality products from sustainable and traceable krill harvesting in Antarctica. Rimfrost has developed and implemented enzymatic hydrolysis of krill, which facilitates a gentle process and the removal of the krill shells. As a result of removing the shells, the fluoride content of the products is also very low. The gentle processing method enables the levels of omega-3 phospholipids, astaxanthin, marine proteins with high biologial value and choline to remain stable throughout the process.
