RAW CAT FOOD FEEDING DIRECTIONS

  • Store frozen and thaw 1 packet or 1 tub in the refrigerator prior to feeding, do not cook or microwave. The packets can be taken directly from the freezer and run under lukewarm water to thaw. Feed cat 2% to 4% of cat’s weight daily. Discard any food that is not consumed within an hour and clean serving dish and surfaces. Feed one to two meals daily or as advised by your veterinarian. Kittens can eat 4% to 10% of their body weight depending on age and activity level. Pregnant and nursing females can eat 2 to 3 times the normal adult amount, which can vary based on their litter size.

TRANSITIONING TO RAW CAT FOOD

“I tried all the other raw foods and this is so much easier with the packets. The packet idea is so simple it’s silly that it didn’t exist until Savage Cat Food.”  -Julian

RAW CAT FOOD TIPS & TRICKS

PICKY EATERS

Once on a closed feeding schedule, top Savage Cat Food® with your cat’s favorite food for 1 to 4 weeks. Use fish sparingly, as it can be addictive.

SPECIAL NEEDS

To feed small amounts of Savage Cat Food®, slice a packet while still frozen into thirds or fourths, place the small amount in a dish to thaw and return the remaining food to the freezer.

NO MESS PACKETS

Remove the food from the packet while it’s still frozen. You can run the packet under warm water briefly to dislodge. Thaw 1-2 portions in cat dishes overnight in the refrigerator.

“My apartment does not smell like cat food or kitty litter, and there is way less waste in the litter box!” -Anna
