Sashco was born back in 1936 out of frustration. (Yes, you read that right.) We didn’t wake up one day and decide to make a better steel sash window putty. We experienced the pain of trying to stir the separated oil back in. Thick sloppy mess. Finally, we said, “enough is enough.” The first homogenized putty was born, and with it a grit-laced dedication to thwarting every-day home construction hassles.
Be fair warned that we geek-out over caulking, so don’t get us started. That’s when we get more serious, no, passionate, and we’ll overload you with details of making products that really work. ‘Good, Better, Best’ just doesn’t turn our crank.
Great products still in the package are only ½ the answer. You have to apply them successfully.
It drives us a little crazy when there is a simple application trick that makes the job so much easier and you don’t know it. We obsess over your user experience. We brainstorm, engineer, over-engineer, train, and advise until your experience is something worth raving about.
