Able Sheet Metal was founded in Los Angeles in 1946 by Saul Cofsky, a tool and die maker who emigrated from Europe and earned citizenship when serving in the U.S Army during World War ll. Able was a family-owned and operated until 2001. Since then it has been under new ownership and management led by Gurgen Tovmasyan.
Able sheet metal manufactures edging and flashing, roof vents, caps and jacks, rain carrying products, HVAC components, hoods, Vents, louvers, foundation and eave vents, access doors, and thousands of other products for retail store chains, wholesalers and dealers. utilizing advance technology and it's own patented products, the company is a recognized regional industry leader in sheet metal fabrication.
In 2005, Able opened a branch operation in San Leandro, allowing the firm to quickly service hundreds of retail and wholesale businesses throughout Northern, Central California, and neighboring States.
Able sheet metal is an active member of several industry associations, regularly displays it's products at regional and national exhibitions and sponsors many local events and activities. Including youth football, baseball, basketball, and soccer.
